I booked two rooms for two nights. The hotel made two separate charges on the card which cost me two sets of foreign transaction fees. The hotel were not particularly bothered and could have refunded one as a goodwill gesture, but didn't. They said they'll 'bear it in mind' for other guests. Perhaps they will, I'll never know... Hotel is being extended at the moment, so the whole area is a building site. This means there's very little parking (we got boxed in) and I can't see where the parking will be once it's finished. They should have put some of the development money into refurbishing the rooms, they're very basic and a bit tired. The heating controls didn't work and had to be adjusted from reception. One room was never warm, the other room never cool. The coffee machine in the room produces paint stripper and only two paper cups are provided - take a jar of instant! Breakfast is not included and expensive. On the whole at this price point I was very disappointed.
