Various issues” 

good: big tv., bathroom, lounge and common space, breakfast bad: -safebox didn't work. I had to call twice before somebody came (unfortunately it could not be fixed during my 5-day stay). -Towels were missing: I had to call twice to have one. -Staff was not clear regarding the price of the breakfast: I ended up paying eur15 while they told me eur10. -Quality of the mattress is horrible. If you have back problems or simply don't like feeling an old mattress below you, you won't enjoy the night. -A hotel staff entered my room on after knocking at the door very silently. So he entered my room / private space without my consent what could lead to a very disappointing situation.

Reception staff could be more welcoming. Car park spacious in Spanish standard. 

Nice hotel, clean and free water each day” 

I really recommend, I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Fridge didn't work that good but it was not a major problem 

Reasonable price, good location with old style room” 

The nearest metro station is Pío XII, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Nearest train station is Chamartin, around 17 minutes walk and Chamartin also has a metro station attached to it. The hotel lobby is grand and welcoming however the rooms are rather old and smells mouldy. The sound proof is poor and I can hear crowd talking in the corridor or neighbours opening and closing doors. 

Clean, comfortable and restful stay on the final leg of our holiday. ” 

Staff booked the airport taxi for me early morning which was great. Room service was also excellent with a good hot meal. Rooms were big, quiet and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a good stay.
